ebrake cable lengths post up facts.

ok so i came accross an ebrake cable and was told it was for Z32, only thing is i have had Z32 cables, and i am 99% sure they were not this long. so here you guys go:

S13 ebrake cable:
S14 ebrake cable: 47 in
Z32 ebrake cable: 49 in
Z32 2+2 ebrake cable: 44.5in
R33 ebrake cable: 54 in
R32 GTR cable: 40 in

S14 use R33 cable

S13 use z32 2+2 cables no regular 2 seaters

^ you can use the 2 seater cables if you re-route them and make a custom bracket. McGarrette (sp?) mentioned this and I confirmed it by testing it out on my s13. I'm rocking 2+2 though.

Yah route the 2 seaters some other way.... paoin in the arse... Lol, just going with hydro ebrakes.

nice way not to read the title. we are talking what exact lengths work. it appears that 4'1 is NOT R33.

S14 cable are 3'10

Z32 2 seater cables are 44.5in
Z32 2+2 cables are 49in
The housings are the same length, just the cable itself is longer on the 2+2 cables

I have some S14 cables that I can measure later on.

I was actually going to see if I could replace the S13 cables with S14 cables without a lot of extra slack to see if it will work, so this thread should provide the information needed, provided people actually contribute...

I got 47 inches (3 feet 11 inches) for the S14 cable.

If you're talking about from the center of the "pin" of the cable to the center of the "eye" on the other end of the cable, then yeah it's like 46.5 inches.
