hi guys i need some help ,well i just rebuild the bottom end cause i throw a rod knock
the problem is that if \im in neutral and i step on the gas and hold it (like at 2000 rev) or if im berly touching the gas pedal it will shake a lot like fuel its not passing through but if i step hard on the gas it wouldnt bug at all, also when im about to hit 6000 rev it feels the same like fuel cuts off
i took it to the guy that did my rebuild and he changed the injectors, spark plugs and still does it/
when he was putting the motor back to the car the only thing that i saw he replaced was the cam sensor cause my old one didnt want to plug in
my setup
s13blacktop
tomei head gasket
new pistons
new bearings
bc retainers
front mount
hks bov
stage 3 exxedy clutch
can u guys please help ,thanks

timing was way too advanced
tps off
vacuum leak
they fix this and they did a compression test and 1 to 3 are good but number 4 its low ,is this bad .?
he also told me that i need to change thermostat and spark plugs

How low is low...hell might as well put up the compression numbers for all 4 cylinders...

And this motor was rebuilt? Post up the compression for all 4 cylinders,

If I got my motor rebuilt and this happened, I'd break the mechanics hands so he can't work

i just talk to the guy that did my rebuild and told him what the other mechanic said and he said that theres no way the compression its that low that well do a compression test tomorrow ,what are the signs of loosing compression ,after my bogging and missfiring issues were fixed the car its running pretty good i have no complaints im just worriy about what the other mechanic said about my compression being low on cyl number 4 .
Maybe he say it cause he wanted to cover the 75 bucks he charged me for fixing the problem.
he said my
tps was off
cas in wrong positiion
vacuum leak
timing way too advanced
spark plugs too old
need to change thermostat( upper hose feels different than lower hose)
so nbow idk whos saying the thruth ,the guy that fixed my bugging ;missfiring issues or the guy that did my rebuild

Hmmm take the info. back to the first mechanic and get him to redo the compression test infront of you so you can see it go down, 136 is WEAK. Make sure he doesn't prolong the turn over period in hopes of better numbers.

136 on a raised head is normal like 1.1 to 1.3 is about 136... 154 if running close to stock I think...

well i went to my mechanic to do a compression test and i got 170 plus in 4 of them( he did the compression in front of me ,im so happy i think the other mechanic lie to me cause he wanted it to cover the 75 he charged me to adjust the timing .oh well ,thanks for everything

English is not your first language I take it?

Is the motor still running rough?

I do diagnostic/check up and adjustments for 80 bucks as well.

Either way it sounds like some sort of wiring issue.

When a car is losing compression it will either run or not run/and spew oil haha as it dies and the ring lands shatter
