Correct me if im wrong but... the sr20det s13 motor... is 205hp stock... if you turn the boost up to 16psi its 280 right?  is that safe and what kinda 1/4 time would you think it would pull?

You'd do 13s. 13.0 or 13.5 or so. Don't quote me on this, but... considering the weight difference and the added horsepower, that should be it.
I really can't tell you if this is a safe thing to do. Definitely get an upgraded intercooler if you'll do it.

u need to upgrade just to run like 14 lbs so to go to 16 u'd need some more work..... this is to be safe..... if u dont care about safety mauhahaha do what cha want but of course thats our number one concern next to making more HP <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

you'd need at least a new intercooler. there are sidemount intercoolers available which will handle into the 300's i know, that use the factory piping and mount locations.
the s13 red-top uses a shaft-bearing t25, right? the turbo should be capable of this much, but streetability would begin going downhill fast. consider upgrading to a BB t25 from an s14, or a t28 that is similar to the s15's setup.
the s15 uses an intercooler core very similar to the skyline GTR intercooler. Apexi's GTR intercooler is similar and available cheap. I understand that s15's have no problem breaking 300hp with this turbo and intercooler.

The stock turbo on the redtop(s13sr20) can go to 14 psi, but that will sacrifice turbo reliability. 12 is about as high as you'd want to go stock, but then you'd want a larger intercooler, preferable front mount.
