I need the bolt size for the timing cover on a sr. Some of mine broke when i was taking them out of the block and then a few got misplaced. I searched around and couldnt find any info.

M8x1.5? Thats off the top of my head - a guess

im 99% that its a m8 (if you're talking about the oil pump bolts)

i went to napa and they dont make a m8x1.5. I picked up m8x1.25 and a 1.0 and ill find out wich one works. Its the bolts that hold the timing cover to the block.

Incorrect on both accounts. Nissan does not use an M8x1.5 bolt anywhere, the only 1.5 thread pitch bolts are M10s for the bellhousing.

Also, a 10mm head bolt would be an M6, not an M8. I've typed a bolt thread pitch/head size guide on here before a few times, research it.

You'll want the 1.25 pitch, Nissan doesn't use a 1.0 pitch in an M8, only in an M6.
