You got a TI 85?  It has the conversion functions on it.  Unfortunately I'm too dumb to know off the top of my head.

1 hp=0.746 kW

ex.)...
200 hp*(0.746)= 149 kW
149 kW/(0.746)= 200 hp

LanceS13, you're my new hero.  Thanks!  Hey, since we're on metric, do you have the conv. factor for nm to ft-lbs torque?

well...not really.  But since hp is (ft.-lbs.)/s and kW is
(N-m)/s, the conversion should be the same b/c the seconds would cancel on both sides.
1 hp = 1 (ft.-lb.)/s = 0.746 kW = 0.746 (N-m)/s
so... 1 ft.-lb. = 0.746 N-m

Hmmmmmm.  Don't know.  I don't think that's right, not that I'm doubting your math.  I was looking at www.nissan.com.au  If you check the performance on the patrol cab chassis, (Goto site map to do that) it has a 4.2 liter diesel making 91kw (122 hp), and 272 nm of torque or however they do it.  But for 122 hp engine, they should have more than 272 ft-lbs.  The cummins diesels run 130 hp, with 333 ft-lbs.  I guess the could be running a little less.  Just thought it seemed odd.  Of course, as much as I'm a Nissan fan, I'd rather have a Cummins diesel.

Does anyone know how to convert Torque measurements?
