Aeromotive FPR SOHC 240sx Question

Ok what else do I need besides the Aeromotive FPR and SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator Adapter FPR from FR Sport to install this on a single over head KA? Will rubber hoses fit or do you need to convert to stainless steel? Thanks in advance. BTW installing this on a boosted sohc 240sx (1990).

You'll need adapters going to the Aeromotive FPR (O-ringed -6,-8, or -10 depending on which one you have)... Johnny5 had the best solution I think for going from hardline to AN in his build thread, if you wanted to go SS lines.

Basically the FPR takes AN fittings, which can either to go stainless lines, or to an AN->barb fitting to run regular rubber hose. If you run barb fittings/hose, you can just run hose from the hardline to the fuel rail, then from the SARD adapter to the FPR, and from the FPR to the return... the problem is that the FPR is usually bigger than the hose (-8 an -> barb is going to be a much bigger barb than your 5/16" fuel hose or whatever it is), so you might need a reducer also.

I don't have it yet but that was the same one I was going to buy. The megan racing one isn't adjustable based on boost so I don't like that and my nismo FPR that already have is annoying on a single overhead cam and also doesn't adjust on boost. I like the aeromotive one alot and was trying to figure out the trick to put it in. I'll be running a walbro 255 and 550cc injectors btw. So how hard is the steel braided line conversion? And How do you attach a hard line to the rail if you were to do that? O and is there a write up somewhere of which lines to run into the fpr from the boost pressure or will the instructions tell me how to do that? Do you just one of those vacuum lines through it or? Just need a quick sketch and I'd be able to figure it out.

Here's mine... came from a 1000whp, dual fuel pump Supra kit, picked it up for $80 brand new :) (plus like $25 for the gauge from Baker).

-10AN lines coming out of mine, 'cause its the big one. One side blocked because I run single fuel line in, single line out. Vacuum source is on the top, on the right, adjustment is done with the knob on top. I'll see if I can find Stewie's writeup/pics, but basically you cut the stock lines, bend em up against the firewall, and flare them out to accept AN fittings... then it's just a little SS line.

I got the one aeromotive one from fr sport. Would I need a reducer on that one? It's 6 an by the way.

Ok well summit and jeg's for those fittings are backed ordered for 2 weeks. Ok nm was a little confused about the SARD adapter. I see now that I need a fitting and some stainless steel lines. So that'll be alot easier.

Ok last question. I found the fitting on the aeromotive site in stock for the 5/16in barb fittings. However their other fittings were confusing. I wanted to get a line from summit anyway so will these fittings work just fine: Summit SUM-220166 (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=SUM-220166)? They are 6-an but I didn't know if you need the port on the one side or is it supposed to be straight thru? I got o-rings and a plug from aeromotive coming so anything else I need? BTW I'm running the stock line on the bottom and then a stainless steel line from the fuel rail to the regulator.
