This guy has it. However this is one of the coolest car build threads I spent two and a half hours reading.

VxrMarcs 3 month Nurburgring Detail... - Detailing World (http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=81391)

nice little snippet:

and after discussion we realized that without looking really hard it was not visible to the eye without knowing it was there so i accepted it as rejecting the car now would be difficult...

Unbelievable. Truly. There has been more time spent on that car then every 240 in existence.

Rad.

That's insane. I think I've washed my 240 3 times since I bought it earlier this year.

I watched a show on the Discovery channel(?) about this guy. Pretty cool.

is this the guy who gets paid a few grand to detail super cars? I guess if your into car detailing as a buisness, im sure you would go out of your way for perfection at the price.

hes just commited to what he does.

I think it is pretty extreme to do that to a vauxhual , must be a ubber rare edition. Id only consider that detail to something like a porsche 959 or somethin in that likes. esp a 190e evolution II.

Age is obiously a factor, us younging dont care, but when your older you appreciate what you got.

I think this was the same guy that detailed a Veyron. Either way, I stopped reading after the first post and just looked at the pics. This guy's passion for detailing is pretty deep, but he's quite the OCD. I wonder if he inspects every single car he runs into (even if it's not his).

Someone should get him a rust bucket S13 and watch what he does. I dont know which would be better, watchin him turn it into a great car, or laughin as he freaks out over all the imperfections of it

I havent washed my motorcycle in a month. Its kind of a grayish color now, when I wash it its jet black. :keke:

Things that I think would be HIlarious for the OCD Vauxhall guy:
-If one of those bikes fell off the wall and onto the car.
-Somebody backed into him in a parking lot and made a 1 inch scratch and the ensuing freakout.
-Rain that starts just after he dries the car off, prompting the entire process to start over.
-Bird poop on the hood.
-Dog poop on the seats.
-Cat poop on the carpet.
-Human poop in the trunk (in a brown paper bag, lit on fire).

he would probably get rid of it and find a mint condition one, then proceed with detailing that one. :keke:

My 240 hasn't been washed since 2005.

im digging those seats lol. Thats a really cool ass car. I like the little things he did to really set it apart.

Other than that, wow that guy is really crazy about his cars. I mean, my idea of detailing my car is to take a rag and clean the engine bay and the door jams.

Haha, they probably only did a few spots and took pictures to make it seem like he goes into that much detail on the whole car.

I think it is a little excessive for a car that isn't really that expensive.
I mean, if it was a Ferrari, fine, I can understand the love and passion for it.

It's a passenger wagon.

People like this are the ones I walk into their house and re-arrange pictures and shit when they leave the room. His OCD gives me a headache. But that was a clean system install.
