I currently have Zenki front Lights on my s14 and they are both kinda yellowish. I was wondering if anyone had a good way of cleaning/restoring these lights back to clean/clear again. any input would be great. thanks!:2f2f::hsdance:

Are you talking about cleaning the plastic cover? There are several different methods for cleaning them just search. Or are you talking about why they shine yellow because stock them come with yellow bulbs

You can buy headlight restoration compound from your local automotive store or just do what I did and wet sand the cover with like 1500 grit then go over it with polishing compund after you sand it. I did this on my zenki headlight covers and they look brand new

don't waste the time with compounds and shit like that it'll all just come back, wetsand it with a fine grit like 1000 or whatever then put a coat of clear on it, i've seen it done dozen of times and have done mine, works way better than anything else

So just get the lights wet, and use the sandpaper over it? does the water need to be warm or does that not matter?

Soak the sandpaper in water for about 5min.
wet the headlight surface.
sand.
repeat until the entire surface looks the same.
spray bottles work good because you have to keep it wet while you sand.

On another note.
I would do...
1000
^you can skip this if its not so bad.
1500
then rubbing compound.
then clear it.

you can do what i did with my headlights, although going up in wetsand grit will help speed this process up lol, i just used 1000 grit:
so wetsand (yes wet the sand paper)
dry
plasticx the headlight and see how much clearer it is (buffer would help this ALOT)

repeat till satisfied

Or you can buy covers for 120 and call it a day..... that way it is new!!! hhahah but yeah wet sanding works good too but a its a bit tricky the first time around.
