Like the title says, I'm not decided on whether I want to sell yet. I'm looking for a clean S14 SR, and if it's very clean, a S13 SR.

This car is great for those of you looking to step into a great daily driver. It's stock besides an iPod hookup, and has the premium package and heated front seats.

General info about this car:

There's a lot of parts replaced that wear on BMWs with old age, mainly rubber parts and such.

The car has a Dension iceLink iPod hookup, which is set up in the sunglass holder.

New control arms and control arm bushings were just installed because the bushings were worn and the balljoints were going as well. It also has M3 rear shock mounts, because the rubber on the OEM ones were deteriorating. The front left wheel bearing was also replaced because it had dried up and was failing. These were put on within the last month.

The thermostat has also been recently replaced, the upper water hose, and the expansion tank, all because they were failing.

The subframe mounting point, a common weak spot in E36 and E46 style BMWs, tears from the torque of the car. Mine had a hairline crack in it and has been fixed by a shop in Baltimore, MD, Jeff' Shaw's Collision Craft under BMW of North America's authorization.

Rear trailing arm bushings and differential bushings were done last year by Jeff Shaw's Collision Craft during the subframe repair.

The intake cam position sensor was replaced this summer, as it had malfunctioned for some unknown reason, those seem to go a lot too.

The air filter was changed as well over the summer.

The window regulators fail a lot on these cars, the right rear window regulator was replaced this summer. The front left window makes a cracking noise, which is due to the window regulator. The sound has been there for a long time, since I got the car in December of 06, and hasn't failed....I'm not sure what's going on with that but if it bothers you, it's a $75 part if I remember correctly and a 1 hr DIY going slowly.

The oil is changed every 15,000 miles according to BMW spec with BMW LL-01 oil. I changed the diff fluid with Redline 75W90 this summer, and the transmission fluid with Redline D4ATF this summer as well.

I did most of the maintenance, aside from the subframe repair, and control arm bushings/rear shock mounts / wheel bearing.

I'm probably missing some maintenance stuff, I'm just going off what I remember off the top of my head. I'm at school now, and the maintenance records are at home.

Most common problems with E46s, such as subframe failure, rear trailing arm bushings, diff bushings, etc etc have already been fixed/replaced, something that cannot be said for other E36s/E46s on the market.

The car has 139k miles on it. I know it sounds like a lot, but it runs great, has been well taken care of, and is a comfortable and fun daily driver.

Let me know if you have any questions, I'll answer them as best as I can.

What's the KBB on this?

The KBB on this car is $8500.

In addition, remember that most BMWs above 60k miles will have a lot of worn rubber components (LCA bushing, RTA bushing, etc) which have all been recently replaced. The subframe mounting point has also been repaired and won't be a potential problem for the next owner, which cannot be said about a lot of the other ones out on the market.
