The vert rule applies to new drift events only... meaning we're going to have to hold a few events before they'll consider allowing verts on track. HOWEVER, I don't see why they wouldn't allow verts on track for normal road racing...

Yea dino6192 is right, i just talked with Jim and he said that convertable are allowed only if they have rollbars(the oem ones dont count) and the tops must be up! People that wanted to sign up with verts and rollbars/cages let me know so i can add you to the list!

Chuck from WSIR told me that either you need to have an aftermarket roll bar or the stock roll bar works fine as long as it sticks up 2" above the top of your helmet(not head) and the top must be up.

so, yesterday, toying with my car i noticed that my front driver side tire is mounted backwards (rotation arrow going backwards) I have no idea how I overlooked it but i did... The other side is on correctly.

they are both bridgestone re040. i shouldn't be out drifting with my front tires like this right?

Its fine for drifting just stay out of the rain. they are designed that way to shed water and make pavement contact. if its dry you wont loose any grip with them opposite or backwards.

Yea, david i made it home alright... i was perfectly wide awake up until I hit traffic on the 210 near Monrovia... freaking construction took the freeway down to 2 lanes, then when that freed up i started falling asleep until I almost side swiped an SUV. then i snapped out of it! it scared the crap out of me..
