Ok I bought these 3 piece work rims and they had been taken apart to paint, so my question is can I put them back together myself or should I just take them to a shop? ($$) I know you have to reaseal them with silicone caulk, and Ive read that they are tightened to specific specs to maintain balancing, I was planning on using lock tite on the nuts and bolts as well to ensure they didnt come apart. So do any of you have experience doing this? I thought I saw a thread about it but I have searched to no avail!! Any help is appreciated.
