Not sure what that plug is but if its close to the starter make sure the starter is hooked up. My buddy had this same prob. It ended up being a bad ground. So make sure you have all your grounds clean and nice and tight.

that looks like the alt plug to me

but i would be willing to bet the reason ur not gettign power is cuz you didn't hook up the lead that supplies 12v to the interior junk

did u relocate battery? that plug (the one i'm talkign about...not the one pictured) connects directly to the pos terminal

and yea like ae13bravo said....grounds are essential. they are the cause of a lotta weird electrical problems

ok motor is fine car starts but no power to anything until the car is on for about 20 seconds..it's as if it had no battery..only thing that has power from battery is the starter..um an that plug never found where it went
What can it be? Fuses?

It does look like the alternator's regulator plug....

because.....if you relocated your battery, you most likely ran the (+) lead directly to the starter (you should have).

But you also need to link it to the output post on the alternator, and then to that plug i mentioned earlier that supplies power to the interior. If you forgot that step, then perhaps the interior isn't getting any battery power, but somehow gets power once the alt starts putting out some current.

I'll try to find a pic of taht connector i'm talking about. And if you relocated to the trunk, just PM me and i'll walk u through it

nope, didnt relocate the battery...
alternator has 1 plug right? and then 2 small cables correct? (+) (-)

one plug (like the brown one you showed)

one ground cable (bolts anywhere on the body of the alt to the ground)

one (+) output post. This is the one with the plastic surround piece and a nut that holds the ring connector on. connect this directly to + battery terminal.

You can see here i've got a cable coming from starter (from battery) to alternator, then that smaller red cable goes to that plug that powers the interior
