i have some blown front ksport coilovers on my S14, and i was wondering if i could use the ksport housing to insert konis into them.

could i use 86xx series for the front and rear and still be able to slam the car?

Koni 8611/8610 Project: Tires, Wheels, Brakes and Suspension: Nissan Forums / Infiniti Forums - NICOclub (http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=336836)

Takes some modification, but it's doable, apparently.

If you're just looking for a low ride, it'd be a waste of money to buy 86xx shocks.
Koni Track & Street : Koni, Ohlins, Moton, Penske, Hypercoils, Your Racing Shocks Shop! (http://performanceshock.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_2)
That's $207.90 per 8610 - $831.60 for all 4. Mounts can be had for $375 for a front or rear pair - $750 for both. Even if you were to just use your old stuff, you'd still be able to get brand new, complete, cheap coilovers for about the same price. That is, of course, assuming that your top priority is just being low.

it wouldn't be a cheap (relative to what can be had for ~1k) or easy but you'd have a pretty nice set up.
May do the same one day but with Stances.

also, try nissanroadracing.com (http://nissanroadracing.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=11) for better information when it comes to suspension set ups.
