No, it belongs in Le Mans GTS/GT class as the Z33 is a "global sports car", much like the upcoming GT-R.

But, Le Mans is the highest form of racing... everything else like Speedvision and JGTC and SCCA would trickle down from a factory-backed effort at Le Mans. If Nissan is competitive in the first year in GT vs. Porsche, it would be great. If Nissan wins in class in 24 Hours of Le Mans this year, it would be a total shock to the racing world.
