Ok... I may get to swap the MT from a s13 with my s14 AT, and get that MT in my s14.
My question:
Is it worth it to swap from car to car (both run, and ideally, will run after the swap...)?
Also... what will be needed? I am thinking 2 ecus, and 2 wiring harnesses.
Or,
Would it be more sensible to get someone's MT shipped to me and just put it in my s14?
Let me know thoughts and opinions...

Who's s13 are you dealing with? Do they want a AT? I think it would cost more in the long run to do it this way. The person that has the s13 should be able to pick up a AT for his car for less then $100. You on the otherhand should only need to spend about $100-300 on a MT. I have an extra, because I was able to get one so cheap I couldn't pass it up. I figure that each ecu and wiring harness may run $100 and you have to be carefull to get cruise control if you have it, my DE ecu doesn't have cruise so now it doesn't work (here come the speeding tickets)

It's either gonna be my friend's 240sx, or my girlfriend's 240sx. It's an s13, and neither one want a manual right now.
But... I am thinking that I will spend $880 on a complete swap for my car shipped to me, and if they want an AT in the s13, I will swap them and sell my complete swap kit to someone else.
