well i got my motor hooked up today, it started, but it ran really rough, its a ka24e, the motor would shake alot, and yes it is a rebuilt motor, but if you let more air / fuel into the engine it steadies out and runs relatively good..

then later we found out the 3rd spark plug wasn't getting any fuel, so we cleaned all the fuel injector plugs, and put them back in and it idled pretty good, about 800rpms constant, we put the 240 back on the ground go for a 2 second drive and it starts to act up again, the idle starts to jump up and down..

so we park it back while its still idling and my dad lets in a little more air / fuel and it dies and now it won't start.. hmm..

anyone know what could be wrong? also we pulled the no. 1 spark plug wire and that broke so i guess im gonna go to autozone tomorrow and buy a beck arnley wire set... see if that help.. hmmm

also the auto ECU is still in the car, and i did remove most of the emission stuff / vaccum lines, we tested for vaccum leaks and there were none..

if there are no leaks check the timing on it

i think i know exactly what that is... It sounds like 3 cylinders running? Well on my old KA-e, one of the injectors had a slight short, so occasionally, it would run rough, shake hella bad, etc. Just check your injectors, wiggle them a little one at a time, all that good jazz.

yeah i cleaned the injectors and it ran good so i turned it off, then lowered the car back to the ground, started it, and started driving and it started acting funny again, so i parked it and it died when i pressed on the gas a little bit, now it won't start.. hmmm

the timing is right one it, even used a timing gun

i changed the spark plug wires, and clean the injector electrical and it ran pretty good, i think its just a little bit off timing though... heres a vid...
