Anyone know how many mm MORE the 300zx brakes stick out towards the face of the wheel compared to j30 brakes?

Not sure really. Probably only a few, the J30 uses the same calipers as the Q45 and they all share the same rear rotors, so I'd bet it's no more than maybe 8-12mm front and rear.
