well its time to add some new gear oil since my synchros are going to shit...  I've been searching here, fresh alloy, northwest nissan, etc. and its a tie between Amsoil and Redline MT-90.  I've also read a few reviews on Redline Heavy Shockproof and everyone whos been using it HIGHLY recommends it.  Right now i'm leaning towards Redline Heavy Shockproof since MT-90 has some not so great reviews going for it.  Have any of you tried or had experience with Heavy Shockproof gear lube?

Dont get the Heavy weight, get either SuperLight weight or Lightweight. I use Redline Lightweight Shockproof in my Tranny and 80w140 Redline in my LSD. I was going to use MT-90 because I had a few bottles of it around, but then I found some old bottles of the Shockproof around and would rather use that. I can recommend both of these in your tranny although I prefer the Shockproof. If your syncros are going bad you might want to consider using the MT-90, but the SuperLightweight is the same weight as MT-90 so do whatever you want to do.

Redline Super Lightweight Shockproof : 75x90
Redline Lightweight Shockproof : 75x140
Redline Heavy Shockproof : 75x250
