hey peeps. I have a 95 240sx auto. Everything seems to work fine except for my tach and clock. anybody know how I can fix it? Oh, and if I can't get it to work, I may be getting an aftermarket tachlite. Which wire do I connect the wire from the tach lite to on the car? any help is appreciated, thanks.

1) you are probably going to be flamed for this post.

2)what do you need a tachlite for with an automatic?

I don't care if I get flamed. I tried the search, got 5 pages, looked at all of them, nothing about what I am talking about.

I just want to see my rpm move. plus it really looks stupid when people look at my car and the rpm is turned pass the redlin all the way.

Anybody with any suggestions?

Take your hand....make a fist....and beat the f@#! out of it. I really don't know why you want a tach...especially just to see it rev...

guys... seriously he needs help. yeah man do this->
buy a new tach from the dealer/junkyard/japan/ebay just dont buy a MONSTERS INC 5" TACH. if your clock isnt working also, its probably cuz its not getting any power. take apart your cluster (smart? hmm... us s13 HUD users do it all the time) maybe this is the same reason your tach isnt working too. just check on this and holla back.

is the tach working at all? or does it jump around like crazy? If its jumping around its most likely the distributor cap/rotor. It somehow screws up the reading. I had this problem before.

yes, the tach just jumps around for no reason. Are u sure its the distributor? well thanks for the reply and for the ones that were being bit*es, you're worthless, try not to reply if u can.
