The stock tires on my 240SX LE is 205/55R16 (Michelin MXV4) on the Nissan 5-lug rims.

What kind of steelies/tires can I put for winter?? I went to a few stores here in Toronto and they said I can only put 205/55R16 winter tires on the car. They suggested Michelin Artic Alpin for that size.

Can't I put 195/65R15s on the 240SX???

What tires do you guys have for the winter?

If you have the base model steelies, 195/60/15 will be the right size.

as far as a winter tire recomendation. If you mostly drive on pavement and are concerned with the ice that you will find there, all of the new winter tires would be great. However, if you are more concerned with deep snow traction (depends on where you live) then you want to look for something with deeper lugs not just tons of sipes. Lugs are needed for snow and sipes are the best for ice. I like the blizzak ws-15 for snow, the yokohama guardex 600 also work good in snow.

My stock tires are 205/55R16 on 5-lug 16inch rims. I need to know the offsets and width so I can buy 15inch steelies that will fit properly.
