Oh so you are the guy who beat me at the last second on that set

Anyways, there is nothing extreme as long as you keep track of what you took off and mark the position of cams and chain before you take anything off. If u mess those up, you'll have reaaaaaaallly hard time aligning them back again.

You will need a machine shop to re-pin the cams to match your engine.

Eh? You have to do that? They aren't bolt on? Hmmm i always thought they were plug in and go.... any clue on how much it'll cost to repin? I'm getting some myself kinda soon...

You do not need to repin the '91 cams to work in your '95. The only reason you would need to repin the cams, is if you wish to use an exhaust cam for your intake cam, ie. you want 248/248 cams instead of 240/248.
I did the cam swap this past weekend, and it was fairly straight forward. An FSM helps a bunch, and the only other thing I needed was a tube of permatex ultra-black liquid gasket.
Just make sure the engine is at TDC, and you'll be all good.
The FSM recommends re-shimming the cams, but I did not. Others have not as well and haven't had any problems.
BTW, you'll like the swap. My car pulls good now.

Yea. That's what most people do when they buy 2 cams. They swap them both.
Sorry I made you guys think you had to repin both cams. I meant the exhaust cam.
Kreator- I really don't know a cost on that, but I doubt it is expensive. All a machine shop needs to do is drill a hole and insert a dowell.
