Hey I was just wondering if anyone in here has ever rebuilt their KA themself. How difficult was it and how much money do u think u saved by doin it urself?? Also, i have rebuilt a chevy 350 small block & a VW bug engine b4, do u think that is good enough mechanic skills to tackle the KA or just leave it to the pros?? TIN

If you have done a rebuild before then it won't be that bad. Think about it, would'nt be harder rebuilding a V8 then a Inline 4?

LMAO ya u would think so but this is a carbureted 1985 American 350 chevy with no accessories and u can actually c more ground through the engine bay than u can engine and the KA is a fuel injected ECU ran computerized space age Japenese creation with every accessory possible ... it just baffles me a little bit.
