Machine Tune track day June 8th Bud Balcony!!!!!!!!

Machinetune's throwing a Drift/gymkana style track day. We're gonna go with a layout that'll allow fwd as well as 4wd (http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=152200&highlight=machinetune#) cars (http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=152200&page=5#) get out there and still allow for drifting. No competition as this will maximize seat time further (no more down time for judging).

This event is @ Willow Springs Raceway's BALCONY track.
To enter Willow Springs International Raceway: $10 (Drivers and Spectators)
To compete: $120 (includes BBQ plate and refreshments) yes there will be Eric's Mom's BBQ chicken as well as burgers and hotdogs.

DTC superstar DNS due to enema

Morning will consist of three courses: a donut and figure 8 section as well as the J turn w/schikane at the back end of the track. After lunch the course will be a modified 'ring' that will allow beginners to take an easier line (cut through some cones) as well as test more advanced drifters abilities while 'pulling' the FWD and 4WD (http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=152200&page=5#) cars (http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=152200&highlight=machinetune#) around the track.

i would recomend for you to do both days!!!!!!!!!! the more you go durring the learning stages of drifting, the better you get. Everything you learned from the previous event is still fresh. trust me...while i was learning i went to every single event at the balcony for like 5 months..haha

well to spice things up, we're gonna raffle off some of Eric's mom's BBQ sauce. driver's get 2 raffle tickets-but you could only win once, and spectators that buy BBQ get 1 ticket.

Great event...Like always Ali and Eric putting together a fun event. OMG that chicken was bomb!!! There was so much seat time. Thank you Ali, Eric and staff!

any event where food is included and major track time is a great event. It helps that food is there for the drivers and you don't have to go out and might miss your run group.

I had a ton of seat time and I learned alot that day. Tandem was the best part! Thanx MT! BTW that v8 rx7 was pure evil.

glad everyone enjoyed themselves. man, i was fallin asleep on the way home! unfortunately my camera was unused the whole day. so we'll have to wait for my brother's pics and other friends, but i'll post'em as soon as i get em. we're considering another one in september. we'll keep you guys informed
