I have a 90 240sx Coupe. The previous owner probably put some sort of tape and left it out to melt out in the sun.  It's been there since I bought the car a few month back, but now I want to clean it up nice.

The exact location would be the rear quarter(passenger windows). The rubber pieces that look like they keep the windows in place. Has a melted masking tape like residue that cannot be scratched out. Can anyone recommend a type of cleaner I could use? If not, does anyone know the part number? I can't seem to find it. Thanks in Advance.

You can use rubbing alcohol to get it off or any strong cleaners. But if you have tint on your windows be sure to not get anything on you windows. It might mess up your tint.

I'll try that rubbing alcohol tommorow. Its the exterior of the car by the way.
