Do you guys know if the FWD SR20 iacv idle control screw will work for RWD SR20DET?

I found out while trying to adjust my idle that my plastic idle adjusting screw is stripped and I need to replace it.

It probably is, still couldn't find it in the Nissan FAST.

Good question. The plastic one I have looks weak as hell.

Is it interchangeable with a metal one?

New ones come w/ a metal screw, however, only as part of the entire unit, not available separately as far as I can tell :(:

allen key head maybe? unless the screw has some weird thread pitch or odd shape...

I'm more than sure if you take one from a ka it would work. If not then take the plastic screw out and A. go to a "bolt" store and match one up or B. get 1 made. its not that big of a deal. get one that's close enough and make it work

its not a regular shaped screw tho. Trust me, I wouldn't be asking here if that was the case.

its like a hollow tip with a rubber o-ring.

ii've got the same problem. I've already taking to a bolt store but no luck. they could even find it in any catalog.
