I know for a fact that my TOB and PB are both on their way out. They both show the symptoms. Tranny makes a whirrr noise at idle (I didnt lube the PB very well) and it makes a whirr noise when I press the clutch in (failed to replace TOB when I did the swap).

Buttttt what I want to know is... would I be fine to drive ~200 miles?

I dont really want to drop the tranny in my garage because all I have is jackstands. If I can make it ~200 miles, I have access to a lift and tranny jack.

probably can make it for another 200 miles. the worst, probably your tob goes bad and you can't engage the clutch anymore.

but you can drop the tranny with ordinary jack and jackstands. lift and tranny jack would certainly make things easier, but still doable in the garage.

yeah it's doable in a garage i dropped mine on jackstands in the grass behind my friends house, but now i work at a shop with a lift and it's a god send...

Yes you will make it 200 miles
