So, checked around, SEARCHED, YES, and came up with nothing.

so, I'm there with my girl and we're driving around and she's saying how hot it is so I blast the A/C to the number 4 setting for a good 10-15 minutes.

We get out, go eat, come back and turn on the car but the A/C doesn't work.

Fuses are good, relays, etc.
The system was just recharged about 8 months ago.
The car is a Zenki S14

Any thoughts?

Describe 'doesn't work'. There's a hundred variables there.

No power?
No blower?
Blower, but not cold air?

What?

List your exact problem or look in the FSM for troubleshooting the A/C.

Judging by the user name, I dare to speculate that the AC never "worked".

My S13 was SR'd if you're referring to me.

Sorry about the vague description. What I mean is that it doesn't blow air at all. Any setting, nothing comes out of the vents.

Resistor pack, and clean the blower. I had a similar problem in my s14. Resistor is like $21 from the dealership, easy to change too. Check the fuses as well. But first, take out the blower (simple as fuck) and give it a cleaning.

maybe got a leak somewhere? or...maybe u have a bad receiver drier and blew out, shoving desiccant into ur orifice tube blocking the high side.

Simple check = fusebox. Then trace power flow with an FSM.

Not likely. If the blower isn't working it wouldn't matter about blocked lines/hoses.

It's also not the resistor, a dead resistor would still blow on the '4' setting on the fan. I'd speculate a fuse or a dead blower motor.

Hmm... Good point. And HVAC controls don't usually stop working. Clean the blower motor. If that doesn't work, get another lol.

All fuses are good. Replaced the relay under the hood.

Is there anyway to figure out if my blower motor is dead? I don't want to go and buy one and it not be the problem.

I'm in Texas and mother nature hates us. hahaha.

Unplug it, stick a 12V battery to the leads using some wire. Power and ground, if it comes on you're good. You can also drop it and see if the motor is seized or corroded from water intrusion.

cool man, thanks.

I'm thinking it might be the water intrusion thing. I had some problems recently haha.
