Newbie needs S13/S14 advice!

I'm new to this site, and I currently drive an E46 BMW M3, however, I'm looking to build an S13 Silvia. The reason being, is that a guy that I work w/ is moving to Brazil, and will be selling his 240Sx (89, or 90) for about 1000.00.  I have a friend that has a Silvia conversion as well who will do all the grunt work of the swap.  My questions to you who are familiar is:

-Will the S14 front clip (fenders, hood, etc) fit on an S13?
-What is the better motor, the blacktop or Redtop?
-And what headlights do you recommend, the 3-projector or 2-projector lights.

I'd appreciate any info and advice you all could give me, being that I come from a honda/BMW background. Thanks!

well if you are going to use the 2/3 projector headlights then no the s14 fenders/hood won't fit... I'd assume that someone has done a s13 with a s14 face swap but it isn't one of the more common ones (sil-80 swaps and s15 face conversions more popular)

also, you mention which motor is better redtop/blacktop...
if you are getting a s14 front clip you will have a blacktop (with vvt), you might want to read www.srswap.com (heavy throttle) for the differences between the different rwd sr20det's.
basically tho...
s13 motors(silvia 91-93, 180sx 91-98, blacktop or redtop) are highport motors supposedly better if you plan on upgrading the turbo
to put out high numbers...
s14 motors(silvia 94-98 blacktop, or notched blacktop) are lowport motors with variable valve timing, make a bit more HP out of the box, but supposedly don't flow as well compared to the highport motors...
