ok so unstable-hybrids they have it for $6800 at stock levels put out 215hp (RB20) they have the SR for $4080 each price includes all the parts and the labor. Now isee the difference in prices but im wondering well i know the answers more practical is SR but i wanna hit 350hp-400hp now which is more pracitcal ? would the difference in prices reach close to that goal ? (no reasons why 350-400 but its my goal to build a true beast and what better car than a 240sx 95 mind you )
your looking to spend over $10k to get 300+ whp in an sr, you know that right? Here (http://www.unstable-hybrids.com/sr20detFAQ.html) is there FAQ if you haven't seen it(you probably have). I dono much about the rb though. I'd get an sr cauz I think its really cool to push that much HP in a four banger but the RB would be a lot more original. I couldn't imagine 400whp, hehe my personal goal is a 225whp sr but ####, If you've got the money to spend...
Keep us posted as to what you decide to do.

Ehh...an RB20DET and an RB25DET are two different motors bud...I would assume you're talking about the RB20...I think it's a matter of personal preference..just like an SR or KA-T...

n if u got the extra money to pay importing the parts for the rb, which would mainly be just for ur car.

i saw that faq before ive read that whole site but its still a very hard decision 10k isnt in my range well at the moment, the more i look at it im thinking maybe the s-14 black top from a (95+) would be a better for my goals one question SR parts say SR pulleys they go for all the SR right its not something you need to find specifics on like SR S-14 black top pulleys right?
