Can anyone tell me (because his internet isn't working) how whiteline sway bars are supposed to be installed on the front of an S13? He's puzzled at how to do it being that the end links are so different, and I can't take a look at them being that I work too much lately. He can't figure out how the endlink is supposed to face and what not. Anyone have pics so I can describe it to him?

WOW that is stupid! Common fucking sense right there! Tell the idiot that you attach it ot the crank pulley! Then follow him with a camera and document it!

Yes, but it uses their own endlinks, which are a whole lot different than stock.

I'm pretty much teaching him the ways of the s13... unfortunately I never used whiteline swaybars. The whole, "Look! We have a different endlink to make shit stupid!", just doesn't thrill me.

Excuse my dickheadedness here, but those appear to be shots of the rear sway bar, which he managed to figure out on his own. I'll be taking a look at this shit sometime this week, because apparently he can't figure out on his own...

And thanks for the neg rep, Mr. Anonymous Dicknose. I'm sorry if I came to a forum where people have experience on the subject at hand. I've never taken a look at this shit, so I was wondering if anyone had any useful input before I head over to his house this week.

The front swaybar endlink is the one in the tiny pic in the middle on the right hand side. What's probably confusing him is the L bracket. It just blots to the control arm where the stock endlink would go.

I think he's thinking that the bolt that goes through the bracket also goes through the sway bar. Looks like only one of them actually goes through.

Mine came with instructions. Pretty easy to figure out, but anyways, here's some pics I snapped when I installed mine. You're welcome :bigok:

oh and make sure your friend doesn't over torque the bolts. They will seize up and cause the sways to not work properly.

Neato! Now I can laugh at him as he struggles with getting the bar all lined up. He lost the nuts and bolts that ggo to the bracket that holds em to the tc rod bracket. lol

I think you're using your brother as a diversion to make it seem like he wants to know, but you really want to know. You don't have time to look on a way to explain it to him, but you have enough time to reply to people's post and try to make your "brother" look stupid. Just ask if you don't know something.:fawkd::bigok:

No, I have an s14. I'm going with some less expensive, easier to use sways, being that I don't really know or care why the whitelines use a different endlink. I just want something a bit stiffer. And he's not my brother... he may as well be though, I've known him for 13 years and got him into the whole 240 game... unfortunately I have to show him everything I know, and help him figure out the things he doesn't know. Once we get his car on the road again (motor rebuild, installing bushings and sways that came with the car when he bought it), we're gonna get some pics and go on a road trip... and then sacrifice my KA to the gods so that they may have pity upon it and give it back to me faster and stronger.

And I'm not working on his car in the dark without sufficient light and a garage... neither of which he posesses.
