Can anyone confirm exactly which wires the VSS (green and black) are spliced into? Hopefully this will clear up alot of confusion for future reference as well. This is for a S13 Hatch...but all S13's should be the same. Using a KA VSS.

uh, its the y/g and y/b wires. if your wiring it into just a stock vss, then it doesnt matter. the vss produces an AC signal so the polarity doesnt matter.

Just to confirm, this is the right white connector that I tap into correct? During my search it said the white connector...

if you looking at the back side with the top facing toward you, its the one on the left. with the same view on that connector the lower right pin should be pin 6

Ok. Just got done splicing it and still doesnt work. WTF. There is continuity where i spliced and with the speed sensor...I guess I wasnt meant for a speedometer...:(

why do you need to splice it in? did you just do a swap or something?

Well, we swapped it like 6 months ago and my friend gave me the car. He never hooked up the speedo in the first place. And my wife will be driving the car soon and she wants to be able to read what speed she's going...I could care less about it...Thanks for all your help so far though.

Just found out Im using a S14 transmission. So this mean I need to use a S14 KA sensor right?
