Is a SR20DET a non-interference motor? Ive had several people on here tell me that they are and before i listen to them alone id like to get an answer from a larger group.
Thanks, Landin

i really dont know, i had a cam snap in mine, it was broken in such a manner that 4 valves were in the open position, and i can rotate the crank by hand without hitting anything, and without any noise. when i commented about this in another thread several people posted that it is a non-interference motor. So im just trying to find out.

oh ps: car was not running when cam snapped, this happend after rebuild.
