the CNC brake is known to be kinda sheisty by the way.

hit the brake/hand brake in the wrong order and it will lock the hand brake down.

pushes the pedal up when you hit the hand brake.

ect.

McRussell, I think all of them will do that won't they? I can feel my pedal move when I pull up my manual e-brake. just reduces the volume in the circuit and the fluid has to go somewhere other then squeezing pads.

I can barely feel it in my brake with the wilwood master.

the handbrakes with the willwood master work a hell of alot better than the CNC cutting brake.

most people with the CNC take it right back out.

I was thinking about mounting a hydro handbrake on the left side next to the door (US car) because that's where my braided brake line runs.

Well McRussell

This is why

Willwood P/N: 260-1876 Needs to go inline with the cnc brake

what does that do?? would you put this before or after the hydro e-brake??

also, why 10 psi vs. 2 psi??

10lbs because the new cnc ebrake master is rearward of the front calipers and to maintain a high pressure in the ebrake circuit alone.

And steel braided is your friend out back to make everything just adapters, unless you have experience with a flaring and bending tools, in which case its less expensive.

I have heard of people running a dual caliper setup in the rear, using a CNC handbrake w/ external reservoir. Thus creating a completely seperate brake system for the rear. Has anyone else seen this? If so, does anybody make a mounting bracket for the 2nd caliper?

You would have to make it yourself, allot of cars use this (dual caliper) such as Ferrari, Lamborghini etc. Its really not necessary though.

Hmmmm....i still wanna do it.

Well yeah, by all means, but what would serve you better is going to be single caliper in rear, then a dual master cylinder tilton pedal setup and a cnc brake.

Yeah, but I have extra calipers, SS lines and a loom of brake line sitting here. I can prolly fab the bracket myself, but I would rather trust a manufacturer.

i'm in the middle of installing a cnc handbrake. i'll test it out and see if it needs this. all i have left is to fix the in-cabin leaks and actually bleed the entire system
