tire size and offset on s13???

i was woundering if i could fit 245/50/16 on my 16 by 8 rims???the offset is +38 in the front and the rear is +28 and it is going on a s13...i got tein lowering springs and tokico shocks...will there be any clearance problem in the front because im running 225/50/16 all a round right now and the front tire is almost touching the shock, but i want to go wider...if this wont work will 235 work...

yeah you can fit those.. but why. if you rub right now with a 225/50 its only going to get worse.. why do you want to run that big of a tire anyways? grip? why not run a softer/ more grippier compound tire? and if thats not an option you can always run spacers up front i guess

edit* i misread you said almost touching. but im sure if youre almost touching now. you will with those fatty meats.

maybe 245/30's or something to that effect. a 50 sidewall is fuckin huge when you are running 245's man. you are better off sticking with the size you have right now if you are almost rubbing. or it can be spaced like the dude above said, but that is gonna depend on how much room you have between the tire and fender right now.
