I've heard of them but want to know if anybody has any experience whether good or bad about these things. Are they for real or are they just really wannabe lsd's. I'm a broke mofo and just want to get my moneys worth. I'm sure we all do. Not saying that you all are broke or mofo's, just we all want what we pay for. I'm also very skeptical. Don't know, can't help it. And just to make sure, the open diff on a 95 s14 is a r200, right? I'm just too lazy to look it up.

From what I've heard, no, this is not the real shiznit. The "real" shit is Peloquins, Quaiffes, Cuscos, Kaazs and Nismos. Heck, isn't phantom grip's 'logo' a skull or something gay like that?

phantom grip is gimmick device best left to drag racers i.e. straightline only and not worth the money IMHO
it basically(spring loaded) wedges two pieces of metal between your spider gears in your diff to lock them up.
its not true limited slip nor is it a true locker.
its junk and Enjuku should not even be pushing it, but then of course, that just shows where Enjuku is at when it comes to parts.

Not to sound like a wise ass or anything, but do either of you have any experience w/ this product. I'm really wanting to know if anybody has ever used it and what they got out of it and what they used it for(drag/drift/etc.). I'd like to know what someone who's actually used it thought. They seem pretty confident about their product and although I'd give up a toe for a KAAZ unit, they're just out of my price range till I'm rich.
By the way, anybody got a solid gold toilet they want to trade for a brand new spiffy clean PORCELAIN GOD.

i agree that it sounds like a bogus idea, dennis, but c'mon man. unless you've actually used one and decided it sucked, don't spread that ish. we're here for facts, not misinformed opinions.

ive never personally used one but have had friends that do. it does work and its not just a gimmick, its not as strong as a true lsd but its cheap and it effectively gets the job done. personally i would go for the true lsd but if your short on cash and need an lsd it is a viable option.

I forget what issue but SCC is using one on one of it's project cars, and gave it pretty good reviews. If I didn't have an lsd I'd probably consider it.

wow, I've never heard so many good reveiws (or even benefit-of-the-doubt reviews) of the phantom grip "LSD". Out on FA and on a bunch of water-cooled VW sites, i've heard nothing but bad things about it.
In any case, my car will never see the drag strip, and that's not what I'm looking for in an LSD, so my barge pole isn't going anywhere near it.
I figure, if you're going to do something, do it right... so Cusco, here I come!
