ME and my dad have a lil project going for a blown coilover. We took it apart and opened everything up. Everything looked okay, there was a leak somewhere. So my dad took it to his shop and put the cylinder inside the coilover under a strong microscope and the o rings looked to be in good condition except one.

Im going to be ordering a new o ring soon and i wanted to know if megan coilovers are filled with co2 or nitrogen gas? and what kind of oil should i put in it? Me and my dad were thinking of using hydraulic fluid?

Motorcyle shops can help you.

i would say just replace all the orings and use motorcycle fork oil, not sue what weight, but probably the heaviest a motorcycle shop would carry, Go with Nitrogen gas as CO2 increases and decreases in pressure dramatically with temperature, not sure what pressure you should but in them but maybe you can put a guage on one of the good ones to find out... Do a writeup on it and everyone will love you.
