I have a 91 ka24de, the car was originally automatic i converted it to manual, the car has been runnin fine for several months now but i have noticed something ever since i changed it. i adjusted the idle to around 700rpm and it idles fine but for some reason if im at idle at tap the gas just a little instead of it going up and down the motor stays stuck @ 1500 for about 2 seconds and then slowly drops down. i checked if it was the cable it wasn't i tried it from under the hood i can hear the idle go up for 2-3 seconds and then back down to 700. i was wondering if this has to do with the tps? the car drives perfectly fine everywhere doesnt stall. i cant really think of why it does this..

It could be your TPS. The voltage at closed throttle should be somewhere around 1/2volt, at WOT it should be about 4.5volts. It could also be a sticky idle air control motor, try cleaning it, there is a thread about that somewhere in the tech forum. Search for it.
