this is pathetic. a thread about real racing and nobody seems to give a f. it has become painfully obvious that there are just way too many stunna's here nowadays (note the F&F thread that gets more attention). i'll take a gander when the board gets switched, but for now, i'm out. not that anybody cares.

Nasa-racers.........i'm terribly sorry, but it appears that very few people here care about this sort of thing. Try over at Honda-Tech, they seem to be more interested. i hope you guys do very well and continue to take chunks of market share away from SCCA. and for my own personal benefit, please expand into minnesota, there's a significant customer base there that isn't being accomodated. good luck nasa, best of wishes to you.

Errr. What are we supposed to say? There are no events anywhere near my location. I'd love for NASA to come to Texas and give us an alternative to the Silly Car Club of America. Then again, most of us don't have the budgets required to compete at that level. Door-to-door is expensive.

well, with 3 events in california, and 2 in vegas, i'll be sure to make it out. Im sick of Speed GT, blech... besides, ill definitely get to see some interesting makes. I've always wondered how an IS 300 would do vs an E36/E46 or a Subaru...

i went out to a ustcc race at road america last year (came from virginia)...it was really fun and got me into the series...road america unfortunately wasn't on the schedule this year

as for a nasa chapter in your region...there is one based in iowa and that may have events up as far north as minnesota (the virginia region gets events going in north carolina, penn, and maryland)...the contact there is Aaron Johnson of the Mid America region...you can email him at [email protected]

in fact if your serious and can find lots of help you can even start your own chapter

If you go to a USTCC event, make it a West Coast one. I think there were seven cars at Summit. Although, they were some nice rides, until they have West Coast size fields, I'd rather take in a MARRS series event.

Travis - not that you may read this - but if it's any consolation, there weren't too many replies to this thread on H-T either. BTW: when are you getting your Meeoter?

Actually, Travis is going to come down and run w/ the IN/OH region at Mid-Ohio next summer. Right Travis?

Hey - we've got, iirc, six of us going to VIR and at least 3 or 4 to Summit next month. We're picking up around here! Actually, I'd wager our forum was visited with this message b/c of our attempt at getting a discount at VIR (teamname - Zilvia). That's progress - more progress than is being made on any other 240 board.

Actually, another one of our members (Mike G) is a co-founder or at least charter member of the OH/IN group along w/ Mansier.

That looks like a damn cool series, hopefully I'll be able to watch a race next season. Keep us posted

i'll be making the trip to summit (just an hour from home )...look me up...i'll be driving an old white crx (if i gets running by then) or a dark blue mazda protege5

anyway...Is it ok if I post information on the USTCC or other Nasa Events (like driving schools or other amateur racing series)? I was always wondering it I'd be interested in watching some races or taking schools until I met someone else who told me what to do. Thanks.
