Just curious on people thoughts who have actually had experience with Full Race's GT3071R Twin Scroll Setup for the SR20DET. The dyno is fairly impressive for only 19 psi (387hp with better spool than the GT2871R). I'm thinking of going that route, but wanted to get some insight first, lol.

Full race has some HIGH qualitly items. But, they come with a high price tag. If you are willing to pay that much. You can not go wrong. It seams lots of people love that turbo.

It is pretty expensive, but it is the only high quality twin scroll setup that I can find that's pre-made. I want 400 reliable whp, but I want the quickest possible spool time. I'm also planning on going higher in power after I do engine work, so I only want to buy one turbo, lol.

There is a big thread about the twinscroll on Fresh Alloy, I wanted the full TS setup but it's not A/C friendly. See the FA thread for the dyno and responses.

even if it's single scroll, it's the be all turbo for the sr imo.

especially for road racing, street and some drag.

Very responsive, very linear, very predictable.

Yeah, I found the threads on FA. Never been there before, lol, and I've been on Nissan forums for a long time (Nico since 2003/2004 I believe, haha). Anyways, I'm very interested, just wish the cost was a little less. I should be ordering the turbo very soon (week or so), but will have to wait on the rest of it until spring break.... The car will be running by this summer!

I'm just tired of running a lousy 13.1 on the stock t25, lol...

13.1? I have scene people into the 12s on the stock turbo. 400whp and your going to need slicks to get down the strip, lol.

Yeah, I had traction issues, and the track I run at sucks balls, lol. I know at a better track with some newer good traction tires, I would have hit 12's. I did a 13.1 @ 105 mph.... I'm fast off the light, but my 60 ft's suck, lol.

My mods were exhaust, FMIC, VLSD and a MBC. That's all....

how much boost? As you can see in my sig, I just have a "tiny" traction issue and I have 275 RT615s

Running the standard max boost for a T25; 14 psi until about 4500 RPMS or so when it drops down to 11 psi. So when I ran the 13.1 @ 105, I was shifting at about 5500 RPM's lol. My 60 foot was a 1.8xx and my typical reaction is anywhere from a .090 to a .002...

Well, figured I'd update a little, lol. I got the setup installed on my OEM motor (stock cams, headgasket, and everything else, lol), and ran 20 psi on a very rich mail order tune. Had traction issues as usual (the track I run at is notorious for this...) so with a 1.9 60 foot, I ran a 12.30 @ 114mph and a 12.33 @ 117mph. I'm sure with a good 1.5 or 1.6 60 foot at a good track, I'd hit an 11.8 or so, but I haven't got the chance yet, lol.

I have the full race twin scroll top mount manifold and the twin scroll GT3076R. I make 355whp and 282wtq at 15psi and 380whp and 300wtq at 18psi. I have the Greddy intake manifold, apexi hg, sard 850's, splitfire coils, arp head studs, hks stage1 cams, greddy fmic, apexi power fc d jetro, 3.5 inch straight out exhaust.

I personally find its a bit sluggish on the spool up but that's because I have the larger turbine. Its full spooled by around 4000rpm normally and my way around it is a 4.3 rear end. But otherwise I'm really happy with it, the noise twin scroll GT30 makes when spooling up sounds ridiculous.

My buddy has this setup on his S13 w/ a S15 swap and didn't have any problems with the A/C. He is putting down 400whp (not sure at what boost). His car is the super clean white S13 on the calender (Name: Toby)

Just checked out their site and this same turbo kit on a KA24 made 425whp at only 14psi. Sweet!
