Is there a good alignment shop around Rancho Cucamonga? I took my s13 to some shop with fair results and need a place that has more experience with 240s.

um if you wanna come to costa mesa the shop i work at has a brand new (07 model) hunter alignment rack. we do all the alignments for the local ferarri/maserati dealership and i'm pretty damn familiar with s chassis. it'd be about $90 for a full alignment, but it comes with a printout and we can set it to any spec you like, depending on what adjustable suspension components you have.

^ do you adjust the traction rod along with the thrust angle?

if you have adjustable traction rods then yes we adjust caster settings. the factory rods don't really allow for adjustment.

^ did you mean tension? I thought traction was adjusted for bumpsteer/rear toe

ya, my mistake. iirc rear toe only has +/- 2 degrees of adjustability, but we can either set it to factory specs or personalized specs, as long as we have enough adjustment room.

Sorry to start on this thread again and it may be a bit off topic..

But i just installed megan traction rods last night and it seems my car's rear
is higher than it used to be. We adjusted camber and toe to OEM spec
and measured the traction rod length with the OEM rod.

FYI: KYB AGX
Whiteline Springs
Top Speed RUCA and Toe arms
And now Megan Traction rods.

Any suggestions on why it would be about an inch higher, and what are some of your methods to adjust it?

Sounds normal to me, old suspension bits could have been worn and sagging thus appearing lower. But it sounds like your rear needs to settle in, give it about a week.

Most of your drop was do to neg camber, more pos you get the higher the rear becomes.
