I picked up a 93 coupe with a redtop and after reading around, it seems to me that the two vacuum lines coming out of the top of the throttle body are mixed up.

the small line on the left "T"s to the BOV and ther FPR. the large line on the right goes straight to the wastegate.

Ive read that the small left line is supposed to go to the fpr and can "T" into a boost gauge, and the large one on the right is supposed to go to the BOV, while the wastegate is lined to a nipple on the intercooler piping.

any help appreciated.

you can run the gauge off the fpr, and have it like you said... in a pinch (if ur IC pipes dont have a nipple) u can use the bov and wg on the same one.

are u having a problem gettin the car to blow off?

well i just bought a boost gauge and was trying to decide on which line would be best to tap into, and noticed that it was lined differently than what ive been reading it should be. Thanks for your help.

You are correct. The fat nipple should go straight to the BOV with no T.

The one at the top left goes to the FPR and may be T into a boost gauge.

The skinny one at the bottom goes to your evap canister, and should be capped unless you have an intact evap solenoid and evap canister.

The wastegate gets its signal from the coldpipe.
