Well, I planned on searching first, but for some reason the search bar wasn't working for me. My computer is so screwed.

Anyways, my car, NA KA, has been running perfectly fine for a while now, but yesterday when I was driving home the car seemed to sputter. It wouldn't really happen when I was idleing or staying on the gas at a constant rate, but more when I wanted to accelerate; up hills, from stop signs. My car sounds like a snowmobile. I don't know if the cold is effecting it somehow or what.

Can anyone help? Any feedback is much appreciated!

EDIT: Friend said it might be a shot o-ring on the injector, causing fuel to flood a cylinder. Anyone agree?

Thanks for the help guys. I'm going to check the injectors today and see if any are flooding the cylinders. Hopefully get the car back up and running soon.

sounds like it could be a misfire??? maybe your running on 3 cylinders?? had this happen to me and it was making noises like you said....changed my plug wires(oem factory ones) to new ones and it was good to go. check your ecu to see if its throwin any codes.

Alright thanks man, so could it be the spark plugs, or just the wires? I'm definitely running on three cylinders. I'm trying to take out one of the injectors, but these things are impossible to get out.

heres a way to narrow down if its the injectors..

1. unplug injector 1 connector
2. does anything change??? is it still running on 3 cylinders??(telling you that this is the bad injector) or has it got even worse...2 cylinders...if it has gotten worse you know that #1 injector is good...plug it back in and try this for all 4 injectors....1 at a time.
