Stock Exhaust Manifold On S13

Yup just like the title says, but
alittle more to it. Im in the process of
buying a stock exhaust manifold for my
KA24(DE), and was looking at the pic
he sent me and was wondering why its so short .
I wanted to know if thats how it is and if theres
a downpipe connected to that. Even though its not
a turbo maifold. lmk thanxs in advance.

What are you comparing it to?
The s13 is shorter then the s14. There is a down pipe for both manifolds.
No, they are not interchangeable. So if you use s13 manifold, you will need to use a s13 downpipe. Everything else will fit fine. This is all pertaining to the ka24de.

Dude you you have a DE right, not a DET? So you not looking for an exhaust mani, your looking for a set headers... The supplier may have sent you a pic of a turbo mani for a KA24DET. Get back with him and tell him you need headers for your KA24DE...

cause the ones that are on my car are pacer headers
and there shit it came with it when i bought the car
so thats the cheapest mani i can get for now a stock one.

yes that is the upper part of the ka exh mani there is another piece that bolts to it mating it to the cat

well if its 3 then its header....if there is 4 i would def say its a turbo manifold.

it has 2 inlets and one outlet

yeah what are you talking about? He said he has a DE and that is a non turbo engine, so what is use for an exhaust manifold unless you are going turbo. KA's never came stock with a turbo... So, what? He is talking about an exhaust header. So, he just needs to get back with his supplier and tell him he needs an exhaust header...

Exhaust manifold is for a turbo car
Exhaust header is a N/A car
Also exhaust headers dont have down pipes they have collectors, like stated above

i wonder why the pacer headers that came with
my car 2 piece. never expected the stock ones to be 2 piece as
well atleast i found out before i bout it because hes only selling the mani and the other piece he doesnt have.

Well I finally got to see the pic and all I can say is dont buy that crap unless your pacesetter headers are cracked or something. If you want an upgrade find yourself a 4-2-1 , one peice, header. That will give you a good upgrade...

i get it now im used to the words manifold/header being interchangeable. but yeah, dont buy that. you'd probably be better with machining an oem piece of cast iron than buying that
