Hey guys quick question. So i just relocated my battery to the trunk in my s14, and im also running a s14 sr. So my question is, The ground cable from the battery that was grounded to the chassi and to the intake manifold of the sr is no longer there duh since its in the back, but does the ground to the intake manifold not being there do anything? Sorry for the nub question, just wondering if that ground has to be there!

Just unscrew the bolt that grounds the wire on the manifold.

You should have another ground somewhere in the trunk.

Just a loose wire hanging around the engine bay.

Yeah, i have everything set up, my qustion is, do i need to have the intake mani grounded? Or was it just there since the battery was up in front?

That was just the ground from the negative terminal.

So since you have the new ground in your trunk, just take off the wire.

It doesn't affect anything. just a loose wire.

Oh ok, cool. Yeah its the ground from the negative terminal. I grounded the negative in the trunk, just wondering if that would effect anything not having it ground to the intake mani. So i guess it doesnt. Thanks for your help dude! Appreciate it!
