I just dug out a big JEGS box in my rafters this afternoon. Inside is a Aluminum triple pass radiator that is Scirocco style. I originally was going to use it in my last V8 conversion Porsche 914 but instead used a brass triple core that was much bigger and fit better. Curious, do you think it is big enough to cool a KA24 240? The frontal area is approximately 2/3 the size of the stock radiator, yet it is three times as thick. The inlet/outlet spots are in the correct location...so I might use it. What do you guys think? I have deleted the clutch fan and am using a late model OEM late model fan as of right now. Any thoughts or personal experience?

try it. make sure you watch temps with something better than the OEM gage and you will be fine

Do it, watch temps, let us know.

Some of us handling freaks have been wondering about switching to smaller radiators.

if its 2/3 the size - just use some ducting so that the air is going through the radiator. not around it.
