i think this is pretty cool. i was gonna get a msd but it looks like this is WAY easyer to install

Product Description

Splitfire Super Direct Ignition System improves spark performance on your SR20DET motor. This is a newly developed ignition tuning system designed exclusively for the Nissan SR20DET engine. Splitfire enhances the efficiency of combustion to bring more power and torque. This kit comes with replacement Splitfire coil packs, ignition amplifier, and complete plug and play intermediary ignition harness. Works with both S13 and S14 SR20DET motor.
Note: This kit DOES NOT replace the OEM ignitor chip. You can do this upgrade with the following for best results.

NGK Racing Iridium Spark Plugs HR6 HR7 HR8+ for SR .030
New Valve Cover Gasket / Spark Plug Weld Gasket O-ring.
Check/Replace Timing, Water Temp Sensor, TPS, CAS.
Boost Controller / Higher Boost Pressure.

i don't really see a reason for this kit unless you have a HEAVILY modified engine OR ALL of your coilpacks are shot, and you might as well jsut spend a few extra bucks and get something better. but if you have a basically stock SR or moderately modified, the coilpacks do a great job.

well i think its gonna work fine with my set up ( sr black top, top mount t3 turbo, freddy intake manifold, walbro, sard fpr, and 7 somthing cc injectors) it can help detonation and plus it looks awsome

wow, these aren't some new invention, lol, glad you discovered these, i don't even have an sr, but i've known about uprated coilpacks for a long time

Once some of the other guys see it you'll realize how many people know about these.

They've been around for a long time ( not too sure about the blue though)

um i've never seen blue, but they were featured in a "tech article" in super street a long time ago. they installed em on ricky chu's (no comment) s14.5

yeah these things have been around for awhile... i was always wondering if they could be made to work on the ka..(a ka-t of course..)

HAHAHAHA, thats the same exact technolagy that came on stock sr20dets in the 90s. HAHA welcome to the 21st centry dude. there is much better ignition technolagy out on the market. do your self a favor and go to the link below. yes this a link to google search function, its amazing what you can do if you use the damn search function!!!! the spitfire coil has ben on zilvia.net FOREVER!

uhh and if you if people are to lazy to accualy read. YES THEY DO MAKE THEM FOR s13 s14 s15 sr20dets and also s13 and s14 ka24s.
