Hey guys when i bought the car the motor came with a walboro fuel pump but everything is stock. Now it has random stalling when i am at a stop or even sometimes when i making a turn. Do you guys think its fuel pump that is casuing the problem?

lol no... is it stumbling? smell like gas? idle is very rough? if so, you prolly got a leak in your intake manifold.... get a new one or check all lines, and check the gaskets for leaks... but making a turn and it stalls, slightly wierd... at what speed?

not really a turn but when i play with the clutch and gas waiting for a turn. when its stumbling i try to press on the gas harder and it just stalls. Also there is no smell of gas and my idle is good. O also the car came with a kill switch to the walboro fuel pump but i don't think it makes a difference.

no i dont think so.... try fuel filter... it defin starvin for gas i think... also your injectors could somewhat somehow be clogged.. but defin get a z32 fuel filter.. last longer and better.. and at nissna dealership its only 13.99.. same as a stock one... fits great. do it.

well not sure for s14 but s13 its on the passenger side strut tower.. jsut chillin pon the side.. will have a hose on top and bottom connected toit.. close them off so you dont get gas everywhere, change it in 4 secs and your done. but start your car let it runa few secs.. turn off car... repeat 3 times or your car might sound loaded you know? just do it... you got it dude! just like mary-kate says.

I wouldn't diagnose it as that to begin with, but without driving it around I really don't know what what to tell you... Does the car seem to shake before it dies? Do the lights or the power dim at all? Check the grounds (http://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=159907)? Could be a number of things, man.. Good luck with all that.

the car does shake before it dies and i dont think the lights dims. The weird thing is that it doesn't really happen during cold temp but when its hot it seem to do it more(maybe its just me). Also sometimes i try to turn back on the motor doesn't and it doesn't start but it makes the sound that its trying but it just doesn't start. i have to shut it off and wait for a little before trying to start it again.

it almost sounds like you have a major vacuum leak of some sort, or a lose hose someplace...go over them, since it does turn over and everything, but weird that it takes a while to start, and that your lights dont dim, so i would definetly say its either something with fuel or major vacuum leak

k i'll check the hoses today and than the filter. when i say hot i mean the weather but i think its just me. the car never overheats. hey if someone is willing down to come down and check it i'll get a box of corona for u from costco =)

also sometimes when i hold the clutch in and gas. It seems like its gonna stall then when i let go of the clutch it goes back to normal. maybe this can help

sounds like the car may just need a tune up... do you know the last time it had one? also...if your up to it. see how much voltage the fuel pump is getting. ..just so you can rule out a fuel pressure issue.

ok i just change the fuel filter and now all of a sudden i can't rev higher the 2.3. almost like there is a rev limiter a 2.3. any suggestions?

not enough fuel pressure? check the voltage on the fuel pump, it might be worth looking into it if it is a FP issue or not.

Check all the piping from the MAF to the TB aswell, possibly a bad vaccum leak. hell the maf might have fallen off, haha.

i have the same issue as this guy, and have yet to check for grounding issue or short... but mine has been permanently off! Lol... also have ka24de it has everything to the engine mechanically that it would need to be on, but doesn't fire up... yet it turns. It did it to me once while driving but was able to turn it back on... now it's not on anymore... where u located karedkouki? i'm in 626 also maybe the area is haunted or cursed against our 240s

hey guys i just checked my check engine light. And i think that there is something wrong with my maf.
This two shown up
P0100 - MAF Sensor
P0443 - Purge Control Valve

Your MAF is bad.

That's the reason why it's not letting you rev past 2500-3000rpms.

Switch it out.

wow sounds wierd maybe the fuel pressure regulator also check your maf plug it might be really loose and not connected on right.

ok i was so stupid one of the plug was loose. so now i can rev normaly. I drove it around for few blocks. and i didn't stall. i hope its fixed by changing out the fuel filter. but what if it acts up again?

man sry guys i have another problem. This morning i turned on my car and i had to turn it off beccause my neighbor's alarm went off. After i try to turn it back up and it wont work. I try to jump start that didn't help. also i got a gallon of gasoline and pump it in and it still wont start. the car cracks normal but it doesn't seem like fuel is going in.

but the problem is that i pulled the old one out and for the new distributor and i suppose to match up the tooth. some people told me that i have to crank the first piston all the way to the top. i am really lost

i would say it could be fuel but it sounds more electric. sounds like a ground issue. check grounds.

the ground seems good to me. my battery is in the trunk so i just connect the ground to trunk. ok i changed the distributor this morning. there is spark going to my spark plugs and fuil going in to my engine but the car just keep cranking what you guys think ecu?

sup tim. did you ever run on a near-empty tank? the walbro pumps are shorter than the stock ones and go bad if you're low on gas.

if not, maybe try cleaning out the throttle body?
