Youll get an ac belt but youll have to find some other use for it.

thanks. i looked at the link, but i don't think that's what i want. the s14 power steering and AC belt has 3 ribs. if that's the right term. are the pictures different from what i get?

maybe i'm not being clear?

You need the pulley to tension the belt, because the ac pump has no tensioner.

If you are hellbent on doing this, use a piece of string to measure the total distance the belt will travel in a loop, then measure it, then tell the tech at the auto parts store that you want a belt of x ribs of x measure, you should be cool.

yeah, i thought someone on the forum has done it, so i'd save the trouble of measuring and looking like an ass at the auto parts store. =)

plus i've already removed the AC compressor and bracket, and the motor is already put back in the car....SIGH...

exactly???

everything runs on its own belt.. if u dont want AC.. just cut the fuckin AC belt so you dont even have to waste the time of removing any of the belts..

I have to wonder have you even looked at your motor before posting this??

Damn...I was reading this thread and I thought I was tripping. AC belt is the first belt, if your not running the AC, dont worry about the belt, dont forget to take the tensioner off too since you wont need it anymore. The 2nd belt is for your PS, then the main belt runs your alternator and waterpump.

OUT OF IT.
