Searched the archive and found out how to remove all the emblems but there was some concern over removing the rear nissan emblem since it was said it wasnt simply glued on.

Can anyone elaborate if this is correct or not and if so how I would get it off?  I have a 95 s14.

If you don't damage the face of the emblem, can i have it?  I think it has studs behind it and if you remove it you'll have two holes in your car.

Actually I was getting my car painted in about two weeks.  After 7 years the paint is showing its age.  Nothing elaborate, just a high quality paint job of the original color.  All the emblems are pretty worn out and Im putting all new emblems all around.  Figured this would be a good time to do it.

And to be honest Im all about sending it to you since I wont really have a need for it.

just painted my car and workat a body shop... the way i removed mine is to take a metal paint scrapper and just scrap it off.  And use 3812 its a du pont tar-glue whatever remover.  Works wonders on cleaning up most stuff.  But mine is an early 95 and the only emblem that left holes was the hood one.  The rest come off clean.

But if your talking about the one on the lights in the middle im not sure about.

Yeah Im talking about the one smack dab in the middle of the rear light.  I think all the others should come off by scraping.

Getting new emblems is expensive.  If they are looking faded and dull, just soak them in a vinegar/water solution for a few hours, they should look almost brand new.

There is an idea.  But that wouldnt bring back the gold color would it?

My car was very cheaply repainted before i bought it(and shows it) and none of the emblems were put back, I checked with nissan for an emblem, they're about 30 bux, that's why I want you to give me yours &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
