i hear that tires last forever at balcony...

i went through 2 pairs of rear tires that were both at about 30-40% tread, and went through maybe 10-20% of my last pair of tires at the db parking lot event where the asphalt is pretty rough on tires...

i'm wondering if 1 pair of brand new tires will be enough for me?

its a quick tech spec, we always have one. Just make sure no major leakage and everything is working order to perform and go home, in other words basic safety hazard .........speedracer x can explain ^_^

tech spec includes the following:

1. make sure all 16/20 lugnuts are present.
2. make sure battery is tied down and other objects located in engine bay are secured.
3. Windshields must not have cracks over 3 inches in length or 1/2 inches wide.
4. fully functional brake lights
5. helmet(open faces are welcomed)SA95 & MA95 or higher.

I vote for 11/6 or 11/7 Autobacs meet, cause I'm out of town till the 2nd.

I've got a whole set of S13 SE rims that I can put cheapy tires on (just for rears, to get home on), so if anyone else needs a pair, I can bring em/lend em out - let me know.

I'm also planning on bringing my Dad out, who's a profesh photog with a printer that'll do 44" prints - if you wanna posterize yourself, that'd be a good day to do it :) He doesn't like the rain though...

the track is basically the same, but the side where just drift usually sets up a loop was extended and widened.. i'll post a video of the course from the event yesterday after it goes live.

the meet was a ok turnout not all that big cuz the "big fight iono who who but some boxing match-im not a boxing fan yup but sounds really top notch box match. and also the classic car show going on, but all in all good turnout. for those who came for the fun of it, i gave out stickers.

finally after hours and hours EUREKA!!! its 4am

I have a idea that will make things go fast, i mean fast pace.

i wont reveal the organized track layout until 1 week before the event, with the skid pad extension it gives me room to plan a very nice layout that will keep everything consistent and fast pace for the morning session, just like last time but even better,-> lets just hope people start saying again " omg its still only 10am really its only 10am? it feels like noon >_< "

so prepare for lots of seat time in the morning session. and afternoon will be medium pace due to big track layout usage of JDstyle. and the last freestyle open layout at the end is probably fast pace cuz iono if everyone will have any tires left unless they save it for the finale burnout or pop tires.

*hehe we don't want to be the last ones leaving the track at the end of the day so we make you guys pop tires to stay behind* >_<

don't be afraid its just 6 more drivers compared to the last event, and there will be plenty of seat time because my idea is gurantee 100% its just i have to coordinate it, i will need 3 more coordinators who will be standby walkie talkie to keep things organzied, advantage of the plan is fast organized practice, consistent, and there is a slight chance 50/50 but in the thought progress of a spectacular scene type but i have to clarify it with officials.

the organzied lay-out and my coordination skills which i will really coordinate now instead of driving a lot, blah im suppose to coordinate >_< i can't be lazy this event. but yea it won't feel too crowded.

drivers have choices.
either kill yur tires in the morning run or run a couple of warm ups then sit out for the freestyle lunchey or sit out til the JD course. so in other words i doubt everyone won't do the whole warm up in the morning like kr8zy because some will want to conserve tires for the afternoon runs or save the best for last -> elimination tire smoke screen to finish the day with a bang.

Don't worry haystacks are going to be on the outer layout, and in the inner area will be cones. So yea if u want to protect your bodykits just drift with caution, but wats the fun of that? this is just for the morning session 8am-11:50am. the haystacks will be on the outside of the track unless your drifting outside outside outside racing line and not the outside inside outside typicals.

for the practice zone the haystacks are just placed for a reason but wont' harm the cars unless you are a rebel and don't want to drift in the center skidpad zone. so yea its not a big problem. lets play smack the haystack, who will smack the haystack better!

I have a silver bomex bumper that has some damage you can have for free if you can't source one for the event. Just do me a favor and crash it to death lol. It's JDM TyTe but ugly IMHO but it'll work. Here's a link of the pic if you're interested:

ah! i have a torn transmission mount sux, but went to pick a part today hope that does the trick, if not then blah. new clutch & flywheel blah. 100 ( iono am i reading the odometer right lol) miles already broken in, went last nite for like a 2 hr drive all around 562 area.

a few more miles yay. i didn't want to do all 500 miles because the clutch needs some time to cool down i guess.
